Large or unusually complex PDF files can require more browser memory. Password-protected or malformed PDFs might fail to load.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Click Choose PDF Files and select two or more PDF documents.
  2. Review the files in the order they will appear.
  3. Use the up and down buttons to change the document order.
  4. Remove any PDF you do not want to include.
  5. Enter a filename for the combined document.
  6. Click Merge PDF Files.
  7. Download the finished PDF.

The merger creates a new PDF by copying the pages from each selected document into one output file. Client-side PDF merging with pdf-lib follows this approach and keeps the processing in the browser. 2
